In 1998, our designers asked for our wool and cotton rugs in stripes that were hand loomed in India. We started investigating stripes in upholstery and found that they have been doing them for almost 300 years! So now we go to the Paris Home Furnishing Show, the New York, Highpoint, and San Francisco shows and therefore we are way ahead of the curve with our colors. We use the top fabric houses to get our colors along with our design ideas. We only seek out small design studios as accounts and the catalogue customers usually use their own labels and “BIC” is never mentioned.
